Andrea is a dedicated member of 4 Ideal Design (4iD), bringing her diverse expertise in interior and lighting design to the team. With seven years of experience in the design industry, Andrea’s career began at a large architecture, interiors, and engineering firm, where she worked as an interior designer. There, she gained a deep appreciation for cross-disciplinary collaboration and the value of optimized workflows. Her portfolio spans various project types and sizes, including hospitality, healthcare, test fits, corporate spaces, and residential projects. Andrea has also worked independently as a consultant, providing specialized lighting and interior design services. Through these experiences, Andrea has witnessed firsthand how essential a robust template, organized workflow, and clear collaboration are to successful BIM practices. Her passion lies in teaching and mentoring others—a quality that shines through in her work with 4iD. Andrea’s journey into design began at Virginia Tech, as a graduate teaching assistant, she cultivated a love for mentoring, which continues to inspire her work today. Andrea is thrilled to combine her passions for learning, teaching, and design as an integral part of the 4iD team. Andrea holds a BS(Interior Design) and Master’s of Science in Architecture (Interior Design) from Virginia Polytechnic and State University
